Mindset of an Expedition Storyteller – LIVE

Tickets: £29

Max Group Size: 10

Length: 1 hour

Learn to shoot with purpose, think under pressure, and tell stronger stories in a live one hour workshop where mindset meets adventure.

A live, story led talk on how to think clearly under pressure and keep telling the story when conditions are tough.

This is not a gear tutorial or a photography “tips and tricks” session. It is the mindset behind expedition work, built from real shoots in cold, chaos, exposure, fatigue, and uncertainty, and the decisions that keep you safe, useful, and creative when things do not go to plan.

What you will learn

  • How to stay calm and make good calls under pressure
  • How to balance creativity with safety so the story can actually happen
  • How to prepare properly so you are not winging it on the day
  • How to keep moving through fear, discomfort, and setbacks
  • The honest lessons behind building a career in this space, without pretending it is easy

What the talk includes

Expedition stories
Real moments from the field, including the messy bits, the fear, and the moments that make it worth it.

Mindset and decision making
The mental frameworks I use to operate in harsh environments and still come back with the story.

Career and creative momentum
How to build momentum through action, learning, and putting yourself in the right rooms, without needing to “wait until you are ready”.

Who it is for

Photographers, filmmakers, outdoor people, and creatives who want a mindset reset and a clearer way to operate when pressure is high.

You do not need fancy kit. Just an interest in improving and telling better stories.

What you need

A laptop, a good internet connection, and your camera if you want it nearby.
